After being in early access for several months, developer Longbow Games and publisher Kalypso Media have given a full release to Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar. The sequel to strategy war game, Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece, Hegemony Rome allows players to relive the conquests of Julius Caesar on a map stretching from the Mediterranean coast to the British Isles.
Follow the fight as Julius Caesar as you take down the ancient Gauls and expand the territory of Rome in an unprecedented way. On top of that, three other campaigns are available for play, as written in Caesar’s Commentaries on the Gallic War, with over 100 objectives in total. Additionally, a sandbox mode gives access to 20 unique factions for maximum carnage.
Hegemony Rome is now available on Steam as a full digital download. The boxed retail version will become available for purchase on May 30th. Check out the launch trailer for the game below.
