Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs is their fastest-selling game in history, selling more copies than any other Ubisoft title in its first 24 hours on sale.

Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin commented “I once said that the buzz around Watch Dogs was driven by the incredible passion of our early fans. Today we broke the record for the biggest first-day sales in Ubisoft history.”

Ubisoft projects Watch Dogs to sell over 6 million copies. Even though we don’t know how many copies were sold in the first 24 hours, it seems like Ubisoft may hit their goal.

Watch Dogs is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. It will be available for the Wii U later this year. We’ll have our review of the game very soon.
