The popular title Surgeon Simulator, developed by Bossa Studios, has received its first major iPad update today, adding 13 new localized languages to the global sensation. Bossa has also announced a free DLC update featuring an extra-terrestrial patient, coming soon for the iPad.

Launched last month to global success, Surgeon Simulator has reached the heights of top 3 downloaded apps in every English-speaking market for a total of 49 countries. With the new language update, Surgeon Simulator can be played in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, and even Portuguese.

Surgeon Simulator was originally developed in just 48 hours during the 2013 Global Game Jam last January, and was released on Steam just a few months later.

@GhostOfDiaby there is a documentary from last year about the whole lawsuit, I think it's on Netflix, that was super interesting. - 7 hours ago
