The beta of Stardock’s Galactic Civilizations III is now live and available to play on Steam. Priced at $44.95, players get the chance to test out Stardock’s storytelling on a mass-scale online multiplayer game.
Promising new races to choose from, a newly designed fleet combat system and a new diplomacy system alongside improvements to features that made the game series popular, the beta is a chance to experience the new 64-bit experience that Stardock is promising - giving new depth and storytelling options to the turn-based strategy game.
The game promises to keep the core mechanics that has made the Galactic Civilizations series a popular hit in the first place, providing the player an array of races to choose from and plenty of opportunity to gain allies and conquer enemies.
The full game is scheduled for release sometime in Spring 2015.
