Clint Dempsey, US National team captain and Seattle Sounders Forward has been named as the FIFA 15 US & Canada cover star along side Lionel Messi who has retained his prime spot on the game’s cover since the 2013 edition of the game. The Xbox One version will feature Clint in his Seattle Sounders kit whereas the PS4 version of the game will have Dempsey wearing his country’s colors with the National US Team’s kit, both covers can be seen below.
Dempsey signed a large endorsement contract with EA Sports last year and as a result was featured on a FIFA 14 TV spot and has recently shown that age doesn’t affect your performance after scoring against Ghana during this year’s World Cup.
FIFA 15 will hit the shelves September 23 in North America and September 26 in Europe on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Playstation Vita, PC, Wii and 3DS.
