Ubisoft has announced recently a retail bundle for Far Cry 4 with Far Cry 4: Complete Edition set on release later next month.

The Game of the Year edition contains both the base game and all the DLC released as part of the Season Pass, adding 5 pieces of downloadable content.

Here’s the DLC included in the latest release:

  • The Syringe DLC: Players must find a rare and potent recipe before Pagan Min’s forces use it against the rebels.
  • Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC: Without anything to defend themselves with, players will have to complete a series of challenges to reach an extraction point.
  • The Hurk Deluxe Pack contains five missions and an arsenal of new weapons including “The Impaler”, Hurk’s harpoon gun.
  • Overrun DLC allows players to team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path to swarm conflict zones and overrun their opponents in maps based on Kyrat’s countryside.
  • Valley of the Yetis DLC: After crashing in the Himalayas, players must explore a new frozen landscape and discover the secrets behind a mysterious cult.

Far Cry 4: Complete Edition is scheduled for release for both PlayStation 4 and PC June 15th. In other Far Cry 4 news, Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be donating $100k to help those who have been affected by the devastating earthquake of Nepal. With the game being heavily inspired by the country and its people, its understandable why Ubisoft has been touched by this recent disaster.

Dale reviewed Far Cry 4 for Continue Play, awarding the game a decent 8/10 and praising its setting and the charisma of its villain, Pagan Min. But he was less enamoured with what he felt was a by-the-numbers approach to open-world game design.

“While it has so many flaws, Far Cry 4 manages to be insanely moreish – and there’s simply so much of it that you could easily still be polishing off its endless list of tasks months down the line,” Dale said in his Far Cry 4 review. “Ubisoft’s greatest accomplishment this year isn’t lurking among the blood-soaked cobbles of revolutionary Paris. It’s found gasping for air among the Himalayan mountains.”
