Last week we brought you news of Dragonball Xenoverse’s announcement along with a flashy trailer. Xenoverse is notable for being the first Dragonball game for the new generation consoles, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Though it should be noted that it will also be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well.
We still have no word on who the mysterious character at the end of the reveal trailer is, but we can’t shake the feeling he looks a lot like Trunks, albeit with “Super Saiyan God” red hair. Sadly, he doesn’t appear in any of the high resolution screens below, so we can’t get a good look at him. But there’s plenty of close-ups of other Dragonball Z characters, including Majin Buu - suggesting the timeline in the game will at the very least run until the end of Dragonball Z.
Dragonball Xenoverse is being developed by Dimps, a studio staffed by ex-SNK employees currently working on the PS Vita exclusive Freedom Wars. There’s no firm release date at this time but we’ll keep you updated as and when we hear anything new.
