CD Projekt RED has revealed a full 35 minute gameplay video showing the aftermath of the griffin hunt scene we saw at Microsoft’s E3 press conference in June. It shows us some open world gameplay of their upcoming title The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Included is commentary from the senior level designer, talking you through what is happening in the playthrough as well as adding the occasional side-comment. The trailer features Geralt, the series’ primary character, on horseback travelling to and visiting Novigrad, the largest of all the cities in the Witcher world. The gameplay is set several hours into the game so if you’re touchy about spoilers, we suggest you don’t watch it!
The game revolves around a mysterious and otherworldly army known as the Wild Hunt, which has invaded the North Kingdoms in ruinous fashion. The Witcher 3 revolves around Geralt’s focal role as the key to stopping this new enemy.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be released 24 February 2024 on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
