The upcoming title by Gearbox, Battleborn, showcases around 20 minutes of gameplay in a new video.

The footage, which you can see below, shows off the game’s co-op gameplay and how it compares to the single-player, alongside commentary by the game’s writer Aaron Linde and Creative Director Randy Varnell.

Battleborn retains many of the gameplay features and fast pacing that has been found in traditional MOBA-like competitive gameplay, but has its own unique characteristics to accommodate a more cooperative experience. This can all be seen in the gameplay below.

The footage also shows a few of the nine known Battleborn, and how the game’s strategies vary depending on the various different types of playstyles and character being used.

Battleborn will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC some time in 2015.
