Of all the possible gaming mash-ups, who would have thought that the next 2 videogame worlds to collide would be Coffee Stain Studios’ insane Goat Simulator and Valve’s ever-popular MOBA, Dota 2?
While said collision isn’t exactly a big one, it’s still pretty cool - Coffee Stain Studios, the off-the-wall studio behind Goat Simulator, is trying to get the game’s titular mammal included in Dota 2 as a courier, via votes on Steam Workshop.
For those of you not well-versed in the ways of DotA 2, a courier is a little unit which, once bought, will carry purchased items to and from your base. This lets you buy gear and equpment for your character without heading all the way back home (and thus causing you to miss out on all that precious XP and gold).
There’s no guarantee that the goat will end up in DotA 2 of course, but you can certainly help to make it a reality by heading over to Steam Workshop and voting the little guy into existence. Given Goat Simulator’s popularity we’re hopeful that we’ll be seeing him in DotA 2 in the near future.
Take a look at the trailer below, to get an idea of what we might be able to expect.
