Remember Twitch Plays Pokémon and Twitch Plays Metal Gear Solid? They were communal experiences where Twitchers controlled the on-screen action via a virtual control set up.
Well, it’s back - and this time Twitch has turned its hands to none other than Dark Souls.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years you would know that the combat-heavy Souls series is notorious for its gruelling difficulty. Despite this, countless gamers have revelled in the challenge with some taking it to the extreme on PC with mods that make the game even harder.
Dark Souls is hard enough by yourself, let alone adding multiple twitch users inputting commands at once. All this isn’t even including all the trolls who love to come along and screw things up on purpose for their own enjoyment.
Currently Twitch users have made barely any progress after nearly two days, which isn’t surprising. How long do you think it will take to finish the game?
