Microsft has announced Halo Wars 2 during its conference at Gamescom 2015.
The original Halo Wars was released on Xbox 360 in 2009, and saw Xbox’s flagship series delving into the real time strategy genre. It was also pretty bloody brilliant, being one of the few RTS games that’s managed to make the genre work on a control pad.
Total War developer Creative Assembly is heading up development of the game, which is currently expected to release sometime next year on Xbox One and PC.
