Fallout Anthology Announced For September

The Fallout Anthology comes out in October

Can’t wait for Fallout 4 this November? Need your fix before then? Well then you’re in luck, because Bethesda announced at Quakecon that they’ll be releasing a collection of previous Fallout games for PC on September 29th in North America, October 1st in Australia, and October 2nd in Europe.

The USD $50/AUS $99.95/£39.99 collection, titled simply the Fallout Anthology, will include nearly every Fallout game released to date. This includes Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, and Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition (the collection does not include Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, since the Bethesda doesn’t consider it part of Fallout’s canon).

The games will come inside a replica of a mini-nuke that features an audible bomb sound effect. There’s also a sixth slot within the case for people to put Fallout 4 in when it comes out on November 10th.

If you still can’t wait for the release of the anthology or Fallout 4, you can always play Fallout Shelter to pass the time on your iPhone. Chris Corbett reviewed upon its release on iOS last month, awarding it 9/10.
