Life Is Stange‘s penultimate chapter launches next week, and now developer DontNod Entertainment as released a new trailer.
PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will be able to download the game from July 28th, after undisclosed issues led to the game’s fourth episode being pushed back.
“In Episode 4, Max pushes the investigation surrounding the disappearance of Rachel Amber and the strange happenings in Arcadia Bay into unexplored and daunting territory,” the official blurb reads. “As the End of the World party approaches, Max must use her powers to put all the pieces of the puzzle in place.”
In addition, Dontnod is celebrating: the developer, who previously worked on the underrated Remember Me, has announced that lifetime sales of Life is Strange have surpassed the 1 million mark, which the studio describes as a “huge achievement” for such a small team.

Jodie Rodgers has had something of an up and down relationship with Life is Strange. While she enjoyed the first episode, she felt let down by the Episode 2. Episode 3 picked up the pace however, so there’s plenty of hope that Dontnod’s adventure reaches it conclusion with a bang rather than a whimper.
“In a time where point-and-click graphic adventures have become the norm, Dontnod is looking to step away from the commonplace tropes set in place already and try something different, and it seems that it’s finally beginning to pay off for them,” Jodie wrote in her Life Is Strange: Episode 3 review.
