Ubisoft Announces Rayman Adventures For Mobile

Rayman Adventures Key Art

Ubisoft has announced a third Rayman game for mobile devices.

Rayman Adventures looks to be something of a departure from limbless wonder’s previous mobile outings. While Jungle Run and Fiesta Run were both auto-runners (and bloody good ones, at that), Adventures looks like it’s a more traditional platform game. The press announcement states that players will be able to “freely move around as they like through stunning environments”.

The game is being made by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman Legends, Rayman Legends, Valiant Hearts and ZombiU. The game will run on the UbiArt engine at 6ofps too, so it’s guaranteed to look the business. The first batch of screenshots released by the publisher look promising:

Rayman Adventures is due out later this summer on smartphones and tablets. If the previous Rayman mobile games are anything to go by, that should mean iOS, Android and Windows Phone owners (yay!) all get a slice of the action.
