Update: EA has revealed further details for Garden Warfare 2 at its own E3 conference. It’s been revealed that any mode can now be played in single player or local split-screen co-op. The three new classes for the zombies have also been revealed - the imp (a tiny, crazy zombie who can summon a huge robot from space), Superbrains (a zombie melee class who looks like a superhero) and Captain Deathbeard (the first zombie sniper, who’s also a pirate). There will also now be a co-operative mode for the zombies, called Graveyard Ops.
Original story below.
EA has revealed that Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is set to release Spring 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Set in Zomburbia, it seems as though the zombies have had some success since the last game. Now, the plants must fight back to push them out of what was once Suburbia. Featuring new classes and characters for both the zombies and the plants, this is looking to be as fun as the first game.
EA’s Peter Moore described the game as “the funniest, craziest most over the top shooter you’ve ever played” and from the trailer this certainly looks to be the case.
We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this release in the future. Take a gander at the trailer below.
