11-Bit Studios has announced recently that This War of Mine will be released on Tablets later this year.

In this award winning title, players are presented with the civilian side of war, as you’re tasked with guiding the actions of a small group of survivors. With managing health, hunger, and general mood levels, players must survive by scavenging for items, providing upgrades to shelters and communications, and deal with a wide range of various NPC’s within the game world.

To help with the release of the tablet versions, 11-bit has launched an interactive trailer, which you can view below. In this, viewers can decide whether to risk their position and help the poor woman out, or leave her to her fate and avoid the conflict all together. Whilst there is no initial release of yet, the game is currently up on Steam for $19.99 USD.

Taylor Hidalgo reviewed This War of Mine when it was released on PC, awarding the game a brilliant 9/10. “Mechanics interact wonderfully with telling the story of a group of survivors struggling to get by, and the war constantly haunts the player in the background, omnipresent and representing a nearly insurmountable challenge that takes dedication and strength to endure,” he wrote in his review. “It makes the survivors feel like survivors, and questions whether or not any of it is worth it.”
