Re-Logic has confirmed that its 2d sandbox game, Terraria, will be released on 3DS and Wii U.
This adds to the already substantial list of platforms that Terraria is available on, including: (deep breath) PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Kindle Fire.
“Terraria is indeed coming to Wii U and 3DS,” lead developer Whitney Baird (AKA Cenx) posted on the game’s official forum.
It can only be a good thing that more people will get to enjoy this fantastic game. It’s not yet clear what (if any) new features will be added for the release on 3DS and Wii U.
The release date also remains a mystery, although Amazon has a placeholder of October 31st.
With E3 just around the corner, chances are we could hear more very soon.
