Bethesda has officially announced Fallout 4 for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC with a new trailer. (excuse my lack of professionalism, but WOOOOOOOO!!!!)
A countdown to something Fallout related was posted on the official website yesterday. Now Fallout 4 has been confirmed with a short trailer. It confirms that the next title in the franchise will be set in the Commonwealth (Fallout’s version of Massachusetts) and it also sounds like Ron Perlman is returning as a voice talent (thank goodness).
We might also have had a glimpse at the new protagonist, from Vault 111, who may be voiced (considering he speaks at the end of the trailer).
We know that the Commonwealth is well known for creating androids (based on Fallout 3 quest The Replicated Man). This could lead to some form of Blade Runner style influence in Fallout 4, with androids rife among the human population. Of course this is only my own speculation.
Fallout 4 has been a pretty badly kept secret for quite a while now, just under a month ago Luis Nieves listed work on a Fallout 4 cinematic trailer on his LinkedIn profile.
Bethesda has confirmed Fallout 4 for a release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. With E3 right around the corner, we can definitely expect more information then. Now we just have to wait for the release date… ain’t that a kick in the head?
Take a gander at the trailer below (which gave me goosebumps).
