PS4 Exclusive Until Dawn Gets Release Date

Supermassive Games announced on Tuesday that their upcoming Playstation 4 survival-horror game, Until Dawn, will be released on August 25th in North America, August 26th in the PAL territories, and on August 28th in the UK and Ireland.

The developer also announced that actor Peter Stormare will be joining the cast of characters in-game. Stormare has been in such films and TV shows as The Big Lebowski, Fargo, Prison Break, and Arrow.

Anyone who pre-orders Until Dawn will be able to unlock an exclusive bonus scene available at launch. There will be three different editions available for pre-order: the standard edition, the extended edition, and the steelbook edition, although it’s yet to be revealed what exactly any of these will contain.

A new trailer was released alongside the announcement, giving a brief glimpse of Stormare’s character in action, as well as others in the game. Check it out below.
