Final Fantasy XV Demo To Be Updated In June

Square Enix has confirmed (via Twitter) that an update will be released for the Final Fantasy XV demo in early June (via Siliconera).

This update (which was originally intended for a May release) brings episode Duscae, which launched with Final Fantasy Type-O HD, up to version 2.00. It will enhance the cooperative move system (Active Cross Battle), adjust the camera targeting system, fix bugs and add balance to the game. It may also improve performance in the demo, particularly the FPS, which has been reported as fairly poor so far.

Final Fantasy XV does not yet have a release date.

In the meantime, check out Nic’s great preview of the Final Fantasy XV demo, in which he says “There’s still plenty of work to do on the engine to iron out the kinks, but as it stands Final Fantasy XV looks set to be a game I’m eager to pay money for – and that isn’t something I’ve said since FFXIII”.

Also, take a gander at the first 40 minutes of the Final Fantasy XV demo below, brought to us by Arekkz Gaming.
