Gears of War Ultimate Edition Footage Leaked

Gameplay footage of Microsoft’s upcoming Gears of War Ultimate Edition has been leaked online.

The videos were originally found on the XboxDVR site, but they’ve since been taken offline. However, the leaked footage can still be found elsewhere.

The two short videos appear to be from a working beta build. You can see the beefy heroes shooting at the equally beefy locusts in scenes that are definitely from the first Gears of War game.

Reports of this game have been running around the rumor-mill for quite some time. It seems that Splash Damage (developer of Brink and Dirty Bomb) is probably heading the development of this remastered Gears of War. Gears of War Ultimate Edition has also been spotted on a Brazilian ratings board listing.
