European Hearthstone Players Gifted Free Card Packs

Server issues prompt Blizzard to give away card packs to players in Europe

Blizzard has gifted European Hearthstone players with 2 free classic card packs, after server performance led to connection issues over the last week.

“We know access to Hearthstone in Europe was spotty last week. Sorry about that, and we really appreciate your patience as we worked to get the tavern back into shape,” Blizzard announced in an update on Battle.net.

In order to qualify for the packs, you’ll have needed to have created your Hearthstone account prior to May 3rd, 2015. If you’re one of those people, you’ll find them in the Open Packs section over the next 24 hours. Mine suddenly appeared late last night, though I didn’t get any new legendaries. I guess I’ll just have to keep working on getting enough arcane dust to create a Deathwing card.
