Microsoft is Set to Show Off New Exclusive IP at E3 2015

Microsoft are planning to show off some new intellectual property at E3 2015, according to tweets by Xbox head Phil Spencer.

“This is going to be a fun year”, adding that: “I think it might be our best 1st party content year ever.”

Last October Spencer revealed that Microsoft’s development studios were working on a new IP that isn’t “another military space marine game” or a racing title. Microsoft is also expected to show off more Scalebound at E3 this year. Scalebound is an action-adventure game developed by Platinum Games and Director Hideki Kamiya (Director of such games as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry and Bayonetta).

This news comes just a week after Spencer confirmed the long-rumored departure of Phil Harrison, corporate VP of Xbox in Europe.

While we’re left guessing about this new IP, check out the announcement trailer for Scalebound below - another new first-party IP set to make its debut this year.
