Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s game director, Jean-François Dugas, has confirmed that you’ll be able to “ghost” the entirety of the story, remaining completely undetected throughout the whole game. Eidos Montreal confirmed that even the boss fights will be ghostable, which is a relief.
As always and even on boss side, finally! “@DuBrowny: @Jeffachoo Will Mankind Divided by ghostable?"”

Eidos Montreal faced some criticism for the boss fights in their 2011 game Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which they admitted had been outsourced to another developer.
Still, Human Revolution was a fantastic game despite its flaws. In his Deus Ex: Human Revolution review, our own Nic Bunce summed it up nicely: “All in all, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is pretty spectacular, even if the ending and the boss fights are both rather bobbins.”
Dugas has also confirmed that Mankind Divided will feature the hardcore stealth mode Give Me Deus Ex. The possibility of a New Game Plus feature is also on the cards.
Square Enix revealed Mankind Divided last week, a sequel to Human Revolution that’s set several years after the events of that game. Protagonist Adam Jenson is now working for Interpol to hunt down augmented terrorists in a world that is increasingly fearful of cybernetically enhanced humans. You’ll now have the ability to remotely hack electronics and erect a nano shield, amongst other things.
