Jonny Cage and Sonya Blade confrimed as playable characters in lstest Mortal Kombat X trailer

Jonny Cage and Sonya Blade are the latest confirmed playable characters for Mortal Kombat X.

The pair’s addition to the roster came via a new gameplay trailer, which you can view below. Jonny Cage’s appearance isn’t a huge surprise - developer NetherRealm has previously hinted at his return via twitter. Sonya Blade’s presence is a bit more of a surprise, though juding by the gameplay in the trailer she’s not taking any names.

In fact, it appears that Sonya and Jonny are married in the latest game - and their partnership is hanging by a thread so thin that even Kung Lao would have trouble flinging his hat at it.

Mortal Kombat X is due for release on April 14th for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A mobile game sharing the same name, but drastically different in terms of gameplay, will also be released on Android and iOS.
