PC gamers have been waiting for the release of the critically acclaimed GTA V for a long while now. Unfortunately, they’re going to have to wait a bit longer. Rockstar has announced that the PC release has been delayed to add a final level of polish to the game. The original release date was this month, but it’s now been pushed back to March 24th (Ouch) - provided we don’t experience any other snags and delays.
“We assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March,” the developer said.
In an effort to reduce potential fan backlash, Rockstar has released a few new screenshots showcasing just how great the PC version will look, which you can see below. The PC release is supposed to be the same enhanced edition of the original, which hit the PS4 and Xbox One back in November with extra goodies such as an impressive first-person mode and improved visuals. The PC version goes one better, with support for 4k resolution and the ability to use up to three monitors (if not, why not?).
Rockstar has also released the minimum and recommended specs you’ll need to run the game:
