Coffee Stain Studios, the notoriously zany studio behind Goat Simulator, has revealed another piece of free DLC - this time in the form of a satirical MMO mode most probably aimed at Blizzards latest World of Warcaft expansion, Warlords of Draenor.
This strange piece of DLC will be available to users on Steam for free this Thursday, November 20 (provided you own Goat Simulator, of course). The DLC seems to mock classic MMO tropes such as the typical fantasy world and the ability to choose between 6 classes of goat - tank, rogue, magician, hunter, microwave (what?!) and simply “no class”.
The first footage of the new DLC can be seen below and, for some strange reason, it looks like it’s going to be a ton of fun. You have to be pretty quick to pick it up but Coffee Stain Studios also manages to poke fun at Blizzard’s recent long queue times for Warlords of Draenor (I’ll give you a hint, look at the options the user chooses when “developing the world”) and also features some pretty suspect fish like creatures enemies that Warcraft fans might recognize.
Dale reviewed Goat Simulator back in March, awarding it a rather spiffing 10/10. “Goat Simulator is quite possibly the most ridiculous game ever invented,” he wrote. “It induces frequent bouts of laughter, and while the lack of content may make people a little suspicious of its price tag, the amount of hilarity on offer is more than worth the price of admission.”
