Ubisoft has recently released an Assassin’s Creed Unity Season Pass trailer, teasing a bit of the things we can expect for purchasing the pass, which is currently being bundled with the Assassin’s Creed Unity: Gold Edition of the game.
The first bit of content showcased is one starring Arno following the events of the main game. ACU’s creative director Alex Amancio says that this story content, titled Dead Kings, will have a far darker tone, taking place during the real historical event of the sacking of the royal bloodline during the French Revolution, taking place in Saint-Denis, 1794.
Dead Kings puts a lot of emphasis on France’s underground catacombs and the puzzles it holds, while also introducing a new enemy faction known as the Raiders. You also receive a new weapon called the Guillotine Gun that shoots explosive rounds. It resembles Adewalé’s Blunderbuss in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag - Freedom Cry DLC, only with a bit more of an explosive kick. It can also be used as a melee weapon in close quarters combat.
The season pass will also include a DLC that contains 30 new customization items for Arno, enabling you to personalize your Assassin even further, and three additional story missions that take place within France including: The Chemical Revolution, Killed by Science, and The American Prisoner.
The final surprise mentioned in the season pass, is Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, which takes place in China during the 16th century. The game plays like as a 2D side-scrolling game similar to Assassin’s Creed 2 on iOS, or more recently, Warner Bros Interactive Studios’ Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate. AC fans have been clamoring for a game to take place in China for quite some time. Whether this hints at the AC universe exploring more into Asian culture or stops at Chronicles: China is yet to be seen.
You can see all that was mentioned for yourself in the trailer down below.
