New Rift: Nightmare Tide Expansion Screens

Back in July, we covered Rift‘s upcoming expansion Nightmare Tide, the MMO’s first major expansion since Rift: Storm Legion was released back in November 2013.

You’ll be able to dive into the Plane of Water on October 8th, where you’ll have access to five additional player levels (65 up from the previous cap of 60) and new open-world zones with their own story-line quests. It will also feature the new Mastery system, in which players can add new synergies and a deeper level of customization to their characters. Additionally (and this might just be our personal favorite), there will be account-wide collectible Minions which players can send out on collection runs for resources, currency, items, and levels.

Who doesn’t love a good minion?

We also got our hands on some new screens:

Rift: Nightmare Tide is available free-to-play on Windows PC.
