A new gameplay trailer for Murasaki Baby has been shown at Gamescom, showing off the touchscreen controls featured in the game and more of its Tim Burton-esque visual style.
Murasaki Baby is a PlayStation Vita exclusive being developed by Ovosonico and following the surrealist art style of Edward Gorey. The game takes place in a twisted world with all manner of strange dream-like fantasy creations and the environment dynamically changes on a whim as you traverse through the world.
The game follows Baby, a little girl (probably) with a distinguishable pink bow and pink balloon; oh, and she has a giant mouth on top of her head in place of where it should be with giant gaping teeth. You may have to interpret her smiles and frowns invertedly, as the mouth is upside down as well. The game is set to be available on digital download sometime in September.
