Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima took the stage today at Sony’s Gamescom 2014 streaming event to discuss the progress of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. But more importantly, Kojima gave an update on one of Snake’s most iconic items — the cardboard box.
MGS V will also feature some new abilities for the iconic cardboard box, including the ability to pop up and fire weapons before sliding back in. The box can also be used as a decoy or can be tricked out with pictures of the enemy too fool foes.
This won’t be all we see from MGS V though. The game is scheduled for a full-on live stream demo later this week. For now, check out the box’s new abilities in action below.
