Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is set to hit the 3DS in the United States sometime early next year, and while the wait will surely be agonizing (especially since Japan is getting the game this October, while the original version was released there last September), we’ve been given some interesting news: players will be able to acquire The Legend of Zelda protagonist Link’s garb and gear and run around slaying beasts dressed up as the Elfen warrior.
According to a Nintendo Direct event from last September, The Legend of Zelda won’t be the only Nintendo IP getting a tie-in with Monster Hunter‘s latest and greatest game, either - it appears as though players will also be able to dress up as Mario and Luigi, though whether or not you’ll be able to use their fireballs is still up in the air.
