An artist whose song we probably have all heard by now (we’re referring to Happy, of course) has been handpicked by 2K Games to select the soundtrack for the upcoming NBA 2K15 game.
Williams told Billboard that “It was a cool experience. I tried to curate songs that were diverse but yet still proved to be motivational to gamers” and that “It was important to me that the music complemented the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15. I hope everyone enjoys it.”
Even Kevin Durant told Pharrell that his time had come in a video announcing the news.
NBA 2K15 will be available October 7 2014 on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
