Bethesda Softworks has announced that The Evil Within will be coming out on October 14. The announcement came during this year’s QuakeCon, which is currently taking place in Dallas, Texas.
The game was originally set to come out on October 21 in North America and October 24 in Europe, but it looks like we’ll be playing it sooner. No territories were mentioned, but October 14 might be the North American release date. There is also a possibility that the game may come out on the same day worldwide.
The Evil Within is a survival horror game being developed by Tango Gameworks, which is led by legendary game developer Shinji Mikami. He is best known for creating the Resident Evil series.
We’re sure we’ll hear some clarification on the release date soon, but for now you can expect The Evil Within to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
