Following hot on the heels of the announcement for the new Doom game, Bethesda has announced it will be running the Quakecon 2014 sale from July 17-20. The sale will affect the prices of games and merchandise on Steam, Xbox Live and Bethesda’s own store.

The majority of the discounts are for the PC, but there is one important Xbox announcement: Wolfenstein: The New Order will be priced on XBLA at £33.59 for the duration of the sale.

Steam Sale QuakeCon Pack

The following games make up the QuakeCon 2014 pack, all the games can be bought for one price of £75.99.

  • Dishonored: Game of the Year
  • Fallout: Classic Collection
  • Doom 3: BFG Edition
  • Doom Classic Complete
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial Edition

Although we have our reservations of The Elder Scrolls Online, we felt that Wolfenstein: The New Order was a smart, uncompromising mix of old-and-new.

Daily Deals

Quick-fingered shoppers should also note that there will be day-specific discounts as follows:

  • Friday: Wolfenstein: The New Order and Doom Sale at 50-75% off
  • Saturday: Fallout 3: Game of the Year, Fallout: New Vegas, and all Fallout: Classic Collection at 50-75% off
  • Sunday: The Elder Scrolls Sale, with Elder Scrolls titles selling for 50-75% off

The Elder Scrolls Online has only just been added to the Steam store, and that both the Standard and Imperial Editions will be discounted, priced at £24.99 and £41.99, respectively.

Bethesda Store Sale

  • All t-shirts - $15
  • All hoodies - $45
  • All art - $25

It might be worth taking a look to see if there’s anything you want. We imagine many people are looking to revisit the Doom series given the recent announcement of a new entry into the series.
