Digital Dreams has announced that Metrico will be released on August 5 in the US and August 6 in Europe, exclusively for the PlayStation Vita. Roy van de Mortel, level designer at Digital Dreams, announced the news on the PlayStation blog, alongside a new gameplay trailer.

Additionally, Digital Dreams announced that Dutch synthesizer composer Palmbomen, whose work has been featured in Grand Theft Auto V, will be working on Metrico’s music soundtrack and sound effects.

Metrico is a atmospheric puzzle action game for the Vita which centers around infographics. It challenges the player through levels filled with bar charts, line diagrams and pie charts, each of which directly react to the player’s movements, actions and input. It was originally announced at E3 last year, and since then there has been a slow but steady trickle of videos and screenshots.
