Roguelike Golden Hour Teases Glory and Exploration

Golden Hour, a new Roguelike/Metroidvania from new developer Monoplex Games, features plenty of explosions and a compelling narrative involving civil war and various usurping kings. A Serbian Studio founded in early 2013 by the duo of Vukašin Kuzmanović and Filip Žarković, who have collaborated previously in game development.

Seeking to blend the best parts of classic exploration-based RPG’s and action-based platformers, Golden Hour featured a wonderfully realized pixel art style and a variety of leveling mechanics and playstyles depending on the types of spells used in combat.

While there is no firm release date in place, Golden Hour will be available for the PC via a Kickstarter campaign in the near future. In the meantime, check out the game’s teaser trailer and a variety of screenshots below
