New Batch of Project Spark Screenshots

Team Dakota’s “game making” videogame and Microsoft exclusive, Project Spark isn’t due out release on Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the October 7, but with plenty of beta invites having been sent out for both the Xbox One and Windows 8 versions of the game (a 360 version is due sometime later), plenty of people have already been getting to grips with its tools.

Project Spark is described as a “digital canvas” that gives the player the ability to create games, movies and other potentially experiences. A player will also be able to download other users content and remix or add it to their own. Kinect and SmartGlass support has also been touched on and can be used to animate models or record audio. While it might sound complex, it’s actually fairly intuitive once you get to grips with it, and the game does a good job of running you through the basics.

Microsoft has released a few more screenshots to tide fans over until its official release, so if you’re not one of the lucky ones currently enjoying what’s shaping up to a great sandbox toy - and possibly Microsoft’s answer to LittleBigPlanet - then take a look at the images below.
