Madden NFL is arguably the most popular American football game of all time, unsurprisingly published by the biggest sports games publisher - EA Sports. The latest installment was previewed at EA’s recent E3 conference, but since then we had yet to see any further details.
Until now. Rejoice! A whole new set of screenshots has been released, showing off the graphical enhancements that Madden NFL 15 has to offer - with improved lighting and texture detailing.
The amount of detail that has been put into the players is impressive, with high-quality skin textures combined with sweat streams and water droplets, as well as veins showing through the surface of the muscle-ridden arms. Also impressive is the level of detailing on fabric, with kits scrunching and folding realistically. Finally, the lighting engine appears to have been fine-tuned, with improved shadows and reflections on show - particularly on player visors. The next-generation (well, current generation, now) console owners amongst you will be able to enjoy these new visuals thanks to the Ignite engine that EA Tiburon are using.
Madden NFL 15 has a North America release date of August 26, 2024 and a European release date of August 29. The game is set to be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.
