Valve Rolls Out Massive Update for Team Fortress 2

Given that Team Fortress 2 is one of the longest lasting online shooter communities that is still going strong, Valve is smart to have just release an update to keep the band together for a while longer. The ‘Love and War’ Update has now been released, along with an animated 15 minute short that tells the tale of a lovesick Scout’s fruitless attempts to romance a corpse disposal expert, essential in the high-death high-respawn world of Team Fortress 2.

Called ‘Expiration Date,’ the film is the most ambitious Team Fortress 2 short that Valve has released to date, and is definitely worth a watch. Additionally, the game’s update gives a variety of new expressions, including conga dancing, headbutting and square dancing, but Valve has promised that there’s much more to come, with the full extent of Valve’s update coming out over the next few days.

We here at Continue Play are big fans of Team Fortress 2,having written two Defining Moments pieces on playing the Heavy and playing the Medic, with more sure to come. Check back soon for future updates and be sure to watch the Team Fortress 2 short below.

Daniel doesn't just play and write about games, but he also writes his own comics. He can usually be found arguing with Dale about who the best member of the X-Men is (it's Jamie Madrox, obviously)
