At Ubisoft’s E3 conference, we were treated to a brand new gameplay trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division, currently in development by Ubisoft Massive.

The Division, in case you weren’t aware, takes place in a near-future United States. Society has collapsed following a nationwide pandemic, and organizations such as Rainbow Six, 4th Echelon and HAWX are no more. As a member of specialist emergency team the Strategic Homeland Division, you’re tasked with restoring order to what’s left of America.

As well as promising a deep role-playing experience, the game also features some intriguing multiplayer elements which will see other players either fighting alongside you, or in opposition - powered by a brand new engine called Snowdrop. So far, the game has been confirmed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, though the publisher hasn’t ruled out a release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Originally expected to launch this year, since its original unveiling at E3 2013 the game was pushed back for sometime in 2015. We’ll be bringing you more details as they’re announced.

I am an anime geek, JRPG fan and I love stealth games. You won't want to play me online, because I'll be the guy killing you from behind or sniping you across the map. That's just how I roll. And chicken is my kryptonite.
