Sony has recently announced that there will be a first look alpha of Destiny before the release of the Beta.

For those who don’t know, Destiny is a first person future shooter that tasks you with defending the remaining pockets of human civilization, and the game seamlessly integrates single player and multiplayer together as a unified gameplay mode.

Destiny will come out on other platforms, but comes first on the PS4 and PS3 and includes exclusive PlayStation content. The PlayStation 4 version of Destiny will also include new maps, weapons, customizations, and an alpha build. In addition to the alpha and exclusive content only being available on PlayStation 4, there will also be a brand new white PS4 that comes with a bundle of a PlayStation Plus Subscription and Destiny.
