New Dance Central game rated for Xbox One

The US videogames age-rating board, ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) has listed a new Dance Central title for the Xbox One: Dance Central: Spotlight.

While the listing, which can be viewed here, does not show much about the game, it does show that the game is confirmed, and that it will have DLC which may not fit its current T (Teen) rating.

The listing goes on to describe pretty much every other Dance Central title to date, but does not hint at what the Spotlight part of the title refers to. It does however hint at the following tracks, based on the lyrics included: Show Me - Kid Inc ft Chris Brown, Talk Dirty - Jason Derulo ft 2 Chainz, Diamonds - Rihanna, and finally Can’t Hold Us - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

It is no surprise that there is a Dance Central game coming to Xbox One, as it is one of the stronger Kinect-exclusive franchises. The ESRB page does not indicate whether or not this game will developed by Harmonix, creator of the entire franchise to date, but we will have more news on that when the game is undoubtedly announced this afternoon at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
