Halo 2 will be getting a some serious love for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Not only will the Halo: The Master Chief Collection include Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4 and a beta of the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians, but the graphics and cinematics will all have been optimized for the Xbox One’s hardware. Nostalgic players will be able to switch back to the original graphics with the click of a button, though we can scarce imagine why anyone would, having seen what the Xbox One is capable of.
Perhaps the most exciting piece of news here is that Halo 2′s multiplayer is completely intact, and will run at 60 frames per second on dedicated servers. A demo of the multiplayer was shown off on the E3 stage floor, and it looked pretty damn good.
The Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available on Xbox One on November 11th, priced $59.99.
