Mojang has released a large number of screenshots of the Xbox One version of the insanely popular Minecraft.
The new screens - which you can see below - have a distinctly Halo vibe to them, and they look exactly how you would expect them to look - blocky and gorgeous. The price for the Xbox One version of Minecraft has not been revealed yet, however Mojang has said that consumers who have the Xbox 360 version of the game can upgrade to the Xbox One version for $4.99 rather than paying the full price.
The addictive indie game did incredibly well on the Xbox 360, selling just over 12 million copies as of April 2014 and that number is still steadily growing, perhaps this is why Mojang is so confident that Minecraft will thrive on the Xbox One as well, despite some other indie developers being highly critical of both the console and Microsoft’s policies.
