Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for Watch Dogs, which is released next week on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One (with a Wii U version confirmed, but not yet dated).
Just in case you’ve been hiding underneath a rock for the last couple of years, Watch Dogs is an open-world action-adventure game with an emphasis on hacking. Taking place on the streets of Chicago and playing as a vigilante out for revenge, you’ll be able to hack into the city’s infrastructure - changing traffic lights, causing power outages and gaining access to city-wide surveillance - as well as NPCs in your environment, letting you steal money from their bank accounts.
In addition to the single-player campaign, there are also a number of multiplayer modes on offer, including an intriguing mode that will see players interacting with people who have downloaded a companion app for mobile devices.
