Crytek has lifted the lid on Arena of Fate, a PC-based MOBA title due to enter Steam Early Access “later this Summer”.

Drawing from a number of fantasy characters, players will be able to take on the role of classic figures such as Frankenstein’s Monster, Joan of Arc and Robin Hood in 5v5 battles.

Developed by Crytek’s Sofia Studio, the developer has stated that their aim is to create a “a streamlined player experience that allows for both greater accessibility, and rich, deep, action-packed gameplay.”

Other than that, details are thin on the ground right now, though the game’s official website is now live, and Crytek has stated that it will be playable on the showfloor at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles.

We’ll be keeping an eye on Arena of Fate and bringing you more information as it’s revealed. In the meantime, check out the game’s first teaser trailer below.
