Worms Battlegrounds gets PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release date

Worms Battlegrounds makes its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Europe on May 30^th, 2014 as a digital download and boxed copy.

US PlayStation players will be able to get their digital download edition from the PlayStation Store on June 3^rd.

Team17’s latest and greatest boasts and wide variety of peer-to-peer services, such as Multiplayer Deathmatch and Fort modes with online and local multiplayer for up to four players, SmartGlass compatibility, and a companion website for the PS4.

It also boasts impressively high levels of customization, clocking in over 200 individual items, 65 weapons and utilities, and 10 new items such as the Mega Mortar, Winged Monkey, Worm Charm, Bovine Blitz, and Teleport gun.
