Sony has announced that Sackboy has made some new friends in LittleBigPlanet.

As of this Wednesday you will be able to purchase new skins and outfits in LittleBigPlanet to kit Sackboy and Sackgirl out as one of your favorite Lemmings.

The good news is that the Lemmings Minipack comes as a Cross-Buy promotion. Purchase the pack, ($2.99 in the US or £2.39 if you’re in the UK,) and you can go to your Download List on the PlayStation store and download the LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet Karting, and LittleBigPlanet PSVita versions of the DLC pack.

Not only will the pack contain the Lemmings skin, hair, eyes, coat, feet, Backpack, Pick Axe, Shovel and Umbrella in order to kit your Sack-Lemming out to the fullest of your nostalgic desires, but you also get the full outfit for the new Mischievous Lemming, as revealed last year in the upcoming game Lemmings Touch.

In case you weren’t aware, Lemmings is a long-running series which sees you attempting to shepherd crowds of suicidal critters through a series of increasingly perilous environments. The series initially debuted on the Amiga back in 1991, but has since appeared on numerous platforms over the years - including an ill-judged jump into the third dimension with Lemmings 3D on the original PlayStation.
